Day 93 (05.05.2018) - Living in the jungle is definitely a challenge!

“When the air conditioner started dropping water on my face when I was sleeping... Ah! It's true, because we were partying quite hard in Bangkok the previous day and the hostel announced that it was the last week it would be open so everything in the fridge was for free... Here I go... Finally, I fell asleep in the living room and woke up on a sofa at 8am...

The next day’s travel was hard, but finally we arrived to Sikhio and there we tried to book a tuk tuk, but the guy said that we had too much luggage so we need 2... But no way, I started thinking and remembered my many hours playing Tetris so I managed to get all the luggage and the 10 of us onto a single tuk tuk... The driver was impressed!

Finally, we arrived. at Take Tamachat and we discovered our bungalows for the next 10 days and had a delicious Thai dinner.”

“Today was one of those traveling days that we are becoming so used to. We left Bangkok in the morning and we spent all day traveling. Our finally destination is Rak Tamachat permaculture farm. We were not sure what we’d find, but when we got there we realized that we are in the middle of the jungle and definitely the experience here will be something that we will never forget!!

Because it was already late we had our dinner and had a quick chat with the owners and then they showed us our new home. This time we are going to sleep in pairs in huts made of bamboo. I am sleeping with Angie and I am pretty sure that we will have a lot of fun together. Can't wait for tomorrow!!”

“After one plane, 1 bus and a tuk tuk we finally arrived at our new house  for the next 10 days. Well, not a house exactly, no, we are literally going to live in the middle of the jungle.

It's amazing, here you can breathe nature from the moment you arrive.

We are going to do a permaculture training course for 10 days, and we’ll be living with mosquitos, spiders, lizards, snakes, frog, dogs etc..

A new experience is coming and I'm so excited! The only thing is that it is too hot here, and the humidity is even worse, but I think that we are going to enjoy it.

Now I'm here, in my bungalow, with the mosquito net over the bed, sleeping with America and with our roommate Alberto the gecko!”
