“As usual, the day started with Bo’s hands on workshop. He provided us with fascinating information about running a permaculture farm and his personal experience. Also, we got acquainted with different painting techniques etc.. Lots of questions about food, that I had before coming here have been answered by our coaches. I love everything about this place, except the abundance of flies that annoy me all day long.”
“We will be planting trees with the compost that we created! Really good! Also we learned how to graft, which is also one thing that I really wanted to learn!
I really like the conversation with the other guys in the school... Tom is an English guy who has been living in Koh Samui for 10 years and he wanted to have his own permaculture business there, his accent is really amazing! Hahaha
Today, it rained like crazy... It’s the first time I’ve seen these storms I’ve often heard about: Asiatic storms.”
“Dear Everyone, I must confess, I am addicted to the Thai mango. I can’t stop eating them! Today I ate 5 mangos and I am planning on eating more tomorrow. What is wrong with me?! God knows!
Back to our activities here, today we learnt more about trees and how to grow a cocktail tree. A Cocktail tree?? Yes, it is possible to grow a tree that generates two different kinds of fruits, how cool is that?! The things I’m learning on this permaculture course. I am fascinated by it!”
